It's my life.
To all the crazy, weird, illogical things and the mundane, normal times. It's my life.
I find I have been dishonest in the past with social media. Posting the highlights for everyone to see and when it is a struggle day I may still type up a FB post, but limit it to PRIVATE to use as my own dear diary fb memory in the years to come. It is frustrating reading the same complaints after a year, or 2, or 8! My need for consistency in some things helps navigate the uncontrollable other things in work and outside of work.
Will I be more honest on my blog? Seems likely since I have already admitted to wanting to skew the truth.
I can't help but notice things that are illogical to what I know, or connect with some random memory or phrase. Anything I post is from my perspective and my point of view. IF anyone reads this (or anything I post or have an opinion on) and disagrees - that is ok - thanks for reading. I do not claim to have knowledge in all things and will remain open minded to others views. Being open minded does not mean I will change my original opinion or even research another opinion since time is valuable.
What do I plan to post? Random connections, my take on different events in my day, reviews of various things, and whatever.
For instance yesterday when I was driving in a suburb of Phoenix, a nice mildly warm sunny day, an animal was in the street ahead. As I slowed and stopped I recognized the species as a coyote (not uncommon with desert and some undeveloped areas nearby). It passes in front of my car, I look to the left and see another coyote. Neither is scrawny or little and I am glad I am in the car. As I continue driving, about 100 yards ahead there is a woman pushing a stroller. Not more than 200 yards further another lady with a stroller, this time the itty baby is facing forward. My brain screams out "THE DINGO ATE MY BABY"! It was the 2nd stroller with the grab & go set up that did it! Freaking AZ desert life. 🐺🌵🚩
I am older than the Seinfeld episode for that reference. I remember it in a far side cartoon with dingos on one side of the fence and babies on the other. I do not think that was the 1st time I heard that phrase either. If anyone knows of the original reference to that if there is one?
Signing off for my blogger attempt #1. Will there be more? TBD! 🌵
